Alenco window balance #2740

Question

Hi there,

I need to order 6 replacement channel balances. I typed in 2740 and got too many choices. So I thought I would send you these images. It looks like the 28" series 395 channel balance is the right one. But there could be something subtle that I am missing. They are for a 28" Alenco window.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello David. Thank you for reaching out to us. The stamp number you mentioned only indicates the spring strength calibration, and it's really not meant to be used for the purposes of identification. With that being said, we believe you may need our S395-28 channel balance with a 2740 option. Take a look and let us know your thoughts.
