The window measures 17 x 19 (glass end to end). The stationary outside glass window measures (19 1/4 x 20 1/4 ) glass end to end. What should I get ?

I have to put a channel balance in a bathroom window because it doesn't have one.

It's hard to tell what you have from these pictures. Many Alpine windows have been known to use a Series 395 channel balance. Based on your glass size, I recommend a 21" long balance. I also recommend weighing your sash on a scale to confirm the proper option.
