Channel balance replacement

A quick learner from California, San Jose says:
I have a "27 3 JQ Caldwell", which balance channel should I use to replace it.

I'm not sure what you have, unfortunately. We have dozens of different balances with that stamp. It's not a product code or anything, it just indicates the strength of the spring.

In order to figure out what Series this is, we need you to remove an undamaged version of this balance from the window and show me clear pictures of the top and bottom nylon fittings. We will also need to know the dimensions of these fittings.

I measured the length of the balance is 28"(not include the attachments). The mark on the balance is "27 3 JQ CALDWELL"

Thanks! Based on your photos, you have either our S380-28 or S385-28. The only difference between them is the size of the bottom fitting, which is indicated on their respective store pages. You'll need to measure your bottom fitting to confirm which one is best.
