Channel balance replacement stamped 2790 30

Question

I am needing to replace my channel balances. The channel is 28" and 2790 30 is stamped on the channel. The plastic top don't seem to resemble what I see available.

Hey, Lee. Based on your photos, I would start by looking at our S385-28 channel balance. I know the top fitting looks different but it shouldn't matter, ours will work the same way. I'm more concerned with the bottom fitting; you need to make sure that yours is 1-3/32" deep, same as ours. That is a more important detail.

Your stamp also uses a slightly outdated rating system. You will need to weigh your sash on a scale to confirm which of our more more modern stamp options will work.
