Channel balance/ window spring replacement

Question

Channel balance for a single hung window. It's 29" long before the plastic clips. It's 9/16 in width and 9/16 in depth. The windows way just shy of 20lbs I need 12 with the full assembly

Greetings from SWISCO.We have two balances that may work. Have a look at both our S380-29 and S385-29 channel balance. Depending on the 'depth' measurement of your bottom balance shoe will determine which of the two balances is the better match. I will place a diagram below on how to properly measure the depth of the bottom balance shoe. Whichever one chosen will go with a 2830 option to replace your stamping of "28C". This will support a sash weight of 16-23 pounds. Look these parts over and let us know if any other questions come up.
