Channel balance and pivot shoe

Question

Window is hard to open and close. Channel balance is 25" and only markings are 2500 and BSL. It has a clip attached similar to 15-043. I have also attached the pivot shoe which looks very similar to 15-129. I assume I can use my existing pivot bars.

Thanks for posting! If the only problem is that the window is hard to open and close, I would first try lubricating the track with silicone spray and see if that helps. If the problem persists, then the balance itself is likely the culprit. See our Series 770 channel balance to start out.
