Channel balances came apart.

Balance rods plastic piece that cord attached to broke. Windows won't stay up. Windows are 20 yrs old.

I see you've posted this inquiry before. Iam afraid these old balance rods and their components are no longer made. They can be replaced entirely by one of our Tilt Window Plain Channel Balances, here. To know which however, I need to see the bottom shoe or attachment of this balance. That will tell us what you need.

Thanks! That's kind of what I expected to see, but I'm happy you confirmed.

Like I said before, this rod balance hasn't been made in a long time. Your specific type can be replaced by our Series 795, but only if the spring diameter is 1/2". You should check that to be sure. The process of replacement is also a little involved. I highly recommend that you watch the video below for a detailed, step-by-step process of how we do it.
