Channel window balance

Thanks for posting. I am confident we can help, but that stamp is not an identifier, but rather tells us the strength of the balance. To know which balance you need, please remove it from the window and show us pictures of the nylon fittings and on each end. The combination of fittings will tell us the replacement balance you need. See the videos on this page that detail how to remove and replace channel balances, as well as how to identify correct replacements. We'll do our best to assist you from there.

These photos are a big help, thanks. Looking at your configuration here, I suggest our Series 395 channel balance. This has a 19-005 top and 15-001 bottom, so as long as those match up then you should be good to go.

One last note: you said above that your metal channel length is 31". Based on your stamp of 29-1, the metal channel should only be 30". You may want to triple check that before you buy anything.
