Coil

Home Owner from Illinois
The coil snapped on both sides. I do not see any markings on either coil and no markings on the windows. It is about 38x26.

Thanks for reaching out! Your coil balance shoe reminds me of the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe. This is compatible with the Series 152 Coil Balance, secured to the shoe using the 33-072

Since it doesn't have any stamps, you will need to obtain the exact weight of the sash to determine the correct coil spring. Once you have the weight, you'll divide that by the total number of coils in the window.

To replace the covers you'll need the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and the 15-145 Coil Support Barrel.

Thank you. When I get a chance I will weigh the sash. To be clear... I take the weight of the sash and will divide that by how many coils there are (2) and then that tells me the weight of the coil needed, correct?

I'm happy to help! That is correct; for example, if you weigh the sash and it happens to be 12lbs, you'd need two 6lb coils. One for each, individual assembly.
