Need to replace a coil and shoe has a #6 or 9 on it. looks like 15-175 and shoe slate blue and coil s175-bs

Thanks for getting back to us. Your pivot shoe resembles the 15-177 shown below. This shoe is used with the S152 coil springs. See the 15-143, 15-144, and 15-145 support parts for the coil springs.

If you're unsure if the coils are stamped with 6 or 9, you'll also need to weigh the sash. The weight divided by the number of coils used on both sides will confirm the strength options needed for your new coils. Thank you!

It's tough to tell which way the manufacturer oriented the coil stamp. I agree with Casey that your best bet would be to weight the sash to ensure you choose the correct strength options.
