Coil Balance

Thank you for reaching out to us. If you have a CertainTeed brand window, my recommendation would be the 15-192 which uses the S170 and S171 coil springs. I recommend checking the band of the old springs to see if there's a weight code stamp. If there isn't one, you'll need to divide the sash weight by the total number of springs in the window to determine the proper coil weight options. 

Note, you may have to cut off the bumps on the face of this pivot shoe for it to fit in the track. 

It will, yes. I recommend having a look at our 15-259 pivot shoe instead. This part is designed to be used with the Series 159 coil springs and can replace your old Simonton balance assembly.
