Coil Balance

Question

I need to replace 8 coil balances marked with the letter "E". They are 1/2" wide and being used in conjuction with your part numbers 15-177 and 26-316. Does the letter indicate the weight, or do I need to weigh the sash and divide by two? Thank you.

Hey there. If you have a 15-177 Pivot Shoe, then the coil springs should be the Series 152. The letter 'E' should translate to '5', meaning they are S152-5 5 pound coil springs.
