Coil Balance Assistance HANCOCK CLASSIC

Question

Hancock Classic window, probably made by Matthew Brothers circa 2003. Left side coil balancer let go at mid sash mount. Repair will likely require trimming sash channel for access. Should I change both coils and stops at same time?

Hello! Your pivot shoe looks like a match for our 15-177, so that means you can use our Series 152 coil spring, too. If your shoes and covers are in good condition then you only need to replace the springs and reuse the rest. If you replace one spring, though, then I do recommend that you replace them all; you don't want to mix and match old and new springs.
