Coil Balance Shoe

Hello there. This looks potentially like a Simonton coil balance shoe no longer made, but is very similar to our 15-192 Certainteed shoe. The primary issue is that the Certainteed shoe has alignment nubs on its face that your old shoe lacks, and we've found historically this can cause issues. You could try rubbing down those nubs to mitigate them, but I can't guarantee this will work.

We do have an alternative option to the old Simonton coil balance system: our 15-259 shoe, which uses Series 159 Coil Balances. But this would require replacing your entire coil balance setup. The video below explains how to do that if you're interested.
