Coil Balancer

Question

No markings that I could find. Unable to locate any that appear completely enclosed like these. This is the right hand side. The left hand side has a crack in the white plastic housing and cracked piece is missing.

Is what I'm looking at actually two parts with only the bottom 1/2 going up down?

Thanks for writing in! The coil balance assembly you have here appears to be the 15-087 Coil Housing Pivot with the 15-086 Tandem Coil Housing attached to the top. I am confident these are the replacements you'll need but be sure to review and compare them to confirm.

Each of these coil housings are compatible with the Series 180 Coil Balance. To determine the coil replacements you need for your assembly, you'll need to check for any stamps/markings on the coil. If there aren't any, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the window and divide it by the total number of coils in the window. Then you'll be able to select the coils you need from the list of Series 180 Coil Balances.

The compatible mounting bracket is the 16-024.
