Coil Balances for Silverline Window
Also, need the white plastic pieces that stop top sash from going to far down, as well as the pieces for the bottom sash to prevent it from going all the way to the top. Quantity of 10.
Do the balances come in seperate pieces...body, spring, etc. My balances are marked with a 6 on the top one, and a
5 on the bottom.
Thank you for your assistance
Thanks for writing in. This pivot shoe looks like our 15-087, as well as the 15-086 Tandem Housing. This Coil Balance system uses our Series 180 Coil Springs. In most cases it's often not reliable working off the stamps on the pivot shoe and outer housing to know what spring weight you need; the best bet is to remove the coil balance system from the window, then remove the coil springs from the assembly. Any stamp codes on the springs themselves should tell you the spring weights you need. If there are no stamps, or you're uncertain, just weigh your window sash instead. Give us that exact weight and we'll work out what you need.
Finally, for a new pivot bar, start with our 26-040. See if it lines up with your old bar's dimensions. If you need a new pivot bar case as well, see our 26-382S.
