Coil Spring Assmebly

Question

I have a very broken coil spring assembly I'm trying to replace. The coil does not have a weight on it but they are alside Fusion windows. About 13 years old. Double hung, tilt windows. The Sash weighs about 20 lbs. There are only springs on one side of the jamb. Looks to be dual spring. Spring is about 3/8" wide. Unfortunately the assembly was destroyed while trying to get it out so I'm looking for a new shoe, spring and assembly. I looked at the 140 series but it says 9/16" wide. It looks like my assembly is closer to 3/8" wide.

I recommend our 15-191 pivot shoe, 15-206 coil spring support for four 3/8" coil springs, and our Series 165 coil spring. It's odd that you only have a balance on one side of the window, but with that in mind I would use four S165-5 springs. That should be enough for 20 pounds.
