Coil Spring Balance Replacement

Hi, After measuring I believe that your S140-8 (there is an 8 stamped on the coil) will be a good replacement for two of our tilt windows. Can you confirm or suggest another?

The Series 140 actually is not the correct replacement for your coil balance system, as the dimensions and configuration will be different. Instead, this looks like a 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which uses the Series 190 Coil Balances. A stamp of 8 means you'd need an S190-840 8 lb spring.
