Coil balance

Need to replace entirety on right and left sides. Please advise as to the part numbers needed.

Thanks for your post! This coil assembly reminds me of the older, discontinued Simonton coil shoe. To replace it we suggest using the 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe and the Series 159 Coil Balance. 

Take a look at the video tutorials below for an idea on how to convert the assembly, the parts required, and instructions on how to select the correct coil springs.

I just looked at the options for the coil. The current coil is a 7lb. That being said, do I choose the 6.5 or 7.5 coil?

My best suggestion would be to confirm the sash weight, as described in the video above. If it is exactly 14lbs, either option should work. So long as the weight is within 1lb (+/-) of the sash weight, either option would be suitable.

That said, there is a chance it could weigh just a bit more or a bit less than 14lbs. If it is between 13 to 14lbs, I suggest the 6.5lb coils, which will support a total of 13lbs; between 14 to 15lbs, you can use the 7.5lbs coils (supports 15lbs).
