Coil balance, pivot shoe and bar

Question

The left coil balance has an 8L marking and the patent number 6,378,169. The right coil balance an 8R marking and the same patent number. The pivot shoe has a U shaped opening the bar and attaches to the coil on the inside.

Take a look and compare the specifications of the S140-8 coil assembly to yours. Keep in mind that there are options for both left and right-hand assemblies on the product page.

There are also a few pivot bars commonly used with the S140, which you can view under the related items section of the product page. You'll need to remove one of your original pivot bars to compare to the replacement options. Thank you!
