Coil balance shoe

Question

I received the series 140 quick tilt balance kit. I watched the video with the needing a cutout. The video doesn't show where to make the cut out for the upper balance/shoe kit. I don't want to mess up the window and I can't find another video on line that shows where to make the cutout. They all show for the lower window.

Thanks for reaching out to us! The process for making the cutout for an upper sash would be that you would need to make a cutout at the bottom of the track, rather than the top of the track.
