Hi Michael,

Your pivot shoe looks like a match to the 15-177, which uses the 1/2" wide Series 152 coil springs that screw to the side of the shoe, along with the related items shown on our product pages.

Our coil springs are a different style but since ours would be compatible with your original pivot shoe, I don't think it will be a problem as long as the 1/2" width matches yours. I would recommend weighing your sash and dividing the weight by the number of coils on both sides of the sash to determine the necessary strength options for your replacement springs. Thank you!

My coil spring does use a 15-177 shoe; however, the original coil spring has a bent tang that snaps into a cut-out molded into the shoe. But I also see a holes on the side of the shoe, that would align with the tip of the 152-coil spring. I think that spring will work if I use the pan head screw to secure it. The bent tang style of spring has given me trouble in the past, breaking off pieces of the shoe after a few years. The screwed in plae spring is a more secure attachment method.
