If that is the case, you will need to get the physical weight of the bottom sash.
This will allow us to determine the amount of weight each coil can hold and get you the proper replacement parts.
Hello,
Upon closer inspection, there are a few discrepancies in the 15-087 housing pivot that makes me question weather it would work as a replacement but yours looks like it's still in good shape and could probably be reused with our replacement coils. Your coil resembles our 5/8" thick S180 coil, which is compatible with our 16-024 mounting bracket. If your mounting bracket matches ours, then the S180 should work for you. Let us know if your bracket differs or if you do wind up needing to replace your housing.
As far as the stamp goes, you will need to do as my colleague Michael suggested and weigh the bottom sash. You'll then divide the weight by the total number of coils in your window to choose the correct stamp number for your replacement coils.
Thanks for getting back to us!
In that case, we recommend using our 15-087 pivot shoe, 15-086 upper housing, and then two S180-5 springs on each side. One goes in the shoe and the other goes in the upper housing. Each of these can carry 5 pounds, adding up to 20 pounds of support. That should be just fine for your window.
Let us know what you think.
