Coil spring replacement

Hello.

I'd like to know if I can get replacement coil springs for my existing windows. The springs are actually intact but the plastic components have broken.

Do you sell complete kits?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us! The coil assembly you have here is made with the 15-180 Coil Balance Shoe which is compatible with the Series 190 Coil Balance Spring (secured to the shoe using the 33-073 screw).

To determine the correct springs for your assembly, you'll need to look for any stamps/markings on the coil. If there aren't any stamps, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your sash and divided that by the total number of coils. (For example, if the sash weighs 24lbs, you would need four 6lb S190-640 coil springs.)

To replace the clip supporting the springs you'll need the 15-181 Double Support Detent Clip and the 15-182 Balance Bushing.

These are not sold as complete kits because of the many variations of assemblies put together using these pieces of hardware.
