Color Balance Spring

Question

I have a 12" Balance spring that I am replacing. The one I am taking off is white, however when I select the 12" 400, it states it to be red. Is this what I want?

Also I have no clips in the bottom of the window.

I'm not sure if our Red Tip would work for you or not. I recommend weighing your sash on a scale as best as you can, then referring to the chart we show on the S400-12 store page. That will tell you for sure whether it will suffice.

As for the clips, I'm afraid I don't know what to recommend without seeing the originals. The Series 400 is compatible with dozens of different kinds. I need to reference the original in order to narrow it down.
