This is the SWISCO Series 400 Spiral Balance for aluminum non-tilt windows. When determining length, only measure the metal tube.
The tube measures 3/8" in diameter and houses an internal spiral rod with cross-piece. Spiral window balances come fully lubricated and ready to be charged.
