Constant Force Balance part

I have a Thermaweld window which was installed in 2010. The window won't stay open. The only information I have is the Coil with a number 8DF engraved on the coil. It is a double hung tilt window.

Will 8 LB SERIES 140 QUICK-TILT, SINGLE Product Code: S140-8 possibly fit to replace the coil balance"?

Looking at your photos and reading your inquiry, I am inclined to lean toward the S180-8 coil spring as being the replacement. Take a look and get back to us with some thoughts.
