We are a dealer who needs to replace Gorell Industries 1/2" coil balances. The balances online are similar but the "shoe" to accept pivot pin is not the same. Are you able to supply us with a balance that will work? There are right and left versions because they glide on raised edges.

Thanks for reaching out to us, Mike, and for your patience during this busy season. Your shoe looks very similar to our 15-087 at first glance but I note that the cam on yours is different. You have a gap on yours that ours lacks.
Before I recommend anything for sure, would it be possible to see a picture of the pivot bar that goes into your shoe? That will give me a better idea of what you're working with and whether or not our hardware will work.
Thank you. I'm sorry to say that we don't have the same kind of pivot shoe that is compatible with this type of pivot bar. However, you may be able to use our 15-087 shoe if you replace your pivot bar with our 26-040. The 26-040 looks similar to your original bar except that it lacks that same nub.
Now, I don't know if this will work for sure, this is just an educated guess. However I do think that it's our best match.
If you want to pursue this solution, then you can also use the Series 180 coil spring (sold separately).
