Question

Thank you for taking my call yesterday. I'm looking for a new handle and mortise lock.

The handle is 10.75 long, the door is 1.75in thick, and the setback is 2" An Amesbury 98.02 is the right size.

The old one has a 2" setback.

It's very hard to identify what you need without the original parts as a reference, but I think a safe bet at this stage would be our 82-265 mortise and 82-030 handle set. Take special note of the dimensions in each case, especially the spacing between the installation hole centers. If they differ in any way, let me know how and we can work from there.
