Crank doesn't open window anymore

Hello, thanks in advance.
Our window crank does not open the window anymore. There is a small gear that has come out of the unit and the gear teeth seem worn out. I assume the window handle needs to be replaced.

Thanks for posting! Your window operator is an older, discontinued style. I believe the newer 39-027E Ellipse Style Single Arm Operator can work for you but you'll need to compare the dimensions to confirm. If the length of the arm differs, please let me know.
