Crank for bathroom window

Handy Person from LAKE VILLA, ILLINOIS
the handle says SEMCO - I need the entire piece replaced or maybe just the crank??
I found your information on google for my bathroom window that I recently broke. I've attached 3 photos below and am hoping you can advise on what parts i'll need to replace and if possible put together a quote so I can place an order.
Please let me know what else you need from me that I may not have included in the photos.
It's a smaller, taller window with a crank from I believe 1989.

Hello there. If the window operator no longer can open or close the window correctly then it is likely broken and needs to be replaced. We can help, but I need to see the entire mechanism, including the link arm(s) that push and pull the window. Please manually open the window and provide a bird's eye view of the entire assembly, including those arm(s). From there we should be able to narrow down what you need. Many thanks.

Thank you! this is a huge help. My top recommendation here would be our 39-013 and 39-032. Before you buy anything, though, you should look over the arm sizes just to be 100% sure that everything matches up. If ours differs in any way, let me know how and we can work from there.

We also sell the 39-107 cover and 39-114L handle, if you wanted them, but your originals can be reused as long as they aren't damaged.

Hi,

So I ordered the suggested and it took my boyfriend until this weekend to finally work on the window. That being said the plate cover is not the right size, i'm not sure who told me to buy that one but it's wrong. Can I exchange it for the correct one? Here are photos, please advise as we currently have bugs able to fly through the window opening now.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. I'm the one who told you to buy the 39-107, but I promise that it is right cover for this operator. Looking at your second photo, it appears that it was put on on upside down. That may be the source of your issue.

Either way, the manufacturer, Truth, explicitly designed the 39-107 cover to go with this style operator. I've used it myself hundreds of time. I am very confident it will work for your application.
