Crank handle fell off

Home Owner from Southern California
Crank handle fell off the crankcase. I can still open the window if the handle is pushed back to the crankcase but cannot close window this way.

Thank you for reaching out to us. It looks like you need a new operator since your old one is stripped. Take a look at the 39-031 and 39-032, along with the 39-155 and 39-156. The important difference is the size of the link arm. Review the specifications and see how they compare with your old assembly.

Looks like I will need either 39-155 or 39-156. The faulty crank is on the left side when I stand outside of the window looking in. Which one do I need to order?

The definitions of left and right differ by manufacturer, so we recommend using the side corresponding to the operator's gear as a reference for which side you need. Based on your last photo, the gears appear to be on the left side of the operator, so you'd want the 39-155.
