Crank handle replacement

Home Owner from Rockville MD

Hi!

I have a bay window with two panes that open with a crank.

The handle of one of them broke. It seems that the "screw" part that the handle is rotating doesn't want to hold onto a the "gear" part that opens or closes the window.

Is there a part that I could replace to fix that?

I attach some pictures that I hope will help, including one of the one that still works.

The brand on the handle is Nuprime.

Thanks for writing in. It looks like the worm gear has come out of the operator, along with the crank handle. When this happens, it unfortunately means that the entire operator has worn down and will need to be replaced. Fortunately we can help you find the right replacement. Take a look at the 39-031 & 39-032 Dual Arm Operators, or the 39-155 & 39-156 Dual Arm Operators. Compare the listed dimensions with your old operator, and see what you think matches best. For a new crank handle, see our 39-205. For a new cover, see our 39-107. Let us know what you think.
