Crank mechanism for K&K "French Casement Window"

Question

One leaf of French Casement window does not operate properly, or operates with difficulty. I have tried to tighten the handle's grip on the turning mechanism but that only helps for short period of time if at all. Maybe treads are stripped. Window will close if pulling on frame while turning crank. Please advise.

It certainly sounds like you need to replace the entire casement window operator. See either our 39-031 & 39-032, or our 39-155 & 39-156. The only difference between these two sets is the length of the link arm, so compare both with your old hardware to see which matches best.
