Hi Tony,

The issue you are describing leads me to believe the worm gear may be stripped in the center of the operator. This interacts with the gears on the base of the operator to move the arms. That said, you'll need to replace the entire assembly with the 39-334 Egress Operator with an extra short link arm. The opposite version is the 39-333.
