Croft window; this part goes on top of the sash at each corner and projects into the frame

A home owner from Irmo, SC says:
keeping the window from falling forward. Instructions on top of the part read "Lift sash 2" before tilting."

The part is 2 2/16" long, not counting the part that projects into the side frame guide. It has a hole to thread a screw through in the top main piece, and a spring for tension in the back that sits against the "slider" handle piece.

Vinyl tilt windows--plastic part ivory white in color There is only an "R" written inside the back of the main part.

Have you seen our 26-157 & 26-158? These two looks pretty similar to your sample images, but check them out and let me know if you agree.
