Crossbow MW Balance

Thanks for reaching out! Your balances appear to be the discontinued crossbow style balance. These have been converted to use our Series 795 Channel Balances.
To confirm that these balances will be a situatable replacement, you'll need to obtain a few measurements from your existing balances. These include the length of an undamaged balance, the diameter of the balance channel/tube. This measurement should be 1/2"; please let me know if it is 3/8".
You will also need to obtain the width of the bottom T-shaped attachment (it will either be 1" or 1-1/4" across the bottom of the T shape) as well as the exact weight of the window to select the correct stamp option.

My lower sash crossbow MW balance is broken so I cant get a measurement of the length. The lower sash is 26 1/4" high x 21" wide. The spring length is 8 1/2". See attached photo. What size replacement balance to you recommend?
The Bottom T is 1 1/4", the spring is 1/2", the window weights is 9lbs. What is a balance channel tube?
Okay, I understand. I'll need to know the height of the visible glass (not the entire height of the sash) to determine the exact type of balances you intend to purchase.
