Custom Balance

A quick learner from united states says:
The channel balance I ordered (S380-29) are too deep for the window. Need 1/2 by 1/2 by 29. In the process of ordering it, I was only asked to measure the width. I would like to exchange for proper size. Thank Laura

Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear the Series 380 didn't work out for you. I am not certain that the issue lies with the dimensions of the metal channel, however; with rare exceptions, these metal channels are all made with standard sizes. I believe it's possible that the issue lies instead with the 'depth' of your balance's bottom nylon shoe. The 'depth' is the measurement from the 'heel' to the 'toe' of the nylon shoe. The Series 380 uses our 15-005 shoe, which has a depth of 1". However, some custom balances instead use our 15-029, which has a depth of 7/8". Could you check this measurement? If it's 7/8", then I believe you instead need a custom-built, 29" balance with the 15-029 Bottom Shoe attached. Many thanks.
