Dimensions of 82-268B

Could you tell me what the body part of this locks height is - the part that slides into the opening of the doorframe and what the hole dimensions are between each other?. I have a Mildard door and my opening is 3 inches.

According to the dimensions we show on the 82-268B store page, the height of the body is 5-7/16". Keep in mind that this is a very specific kind of mortise lock. If yours isn't identical to our picture then this won't work as a replacement.
