Do I need a carpet riser with 23-209B?

I am interested in using your one-piece closet door guides. The doors are 1 3/8" thick and are in carpeted rooms. I think I need item #23-209B. Do I need to use a carpet riser with the guide? If so, which is the best one to use with this guide? Do the holes in the carpet riser match the holes in the guide? Thank you for your help.

It may not be necessary; I can't tell without seeing your set up. That said, you might want it anyway, just in case you need it. It's nice to use because it gives you a solid base for the guide. The recommended carpet riser for the 23-209B is our 23-221.
