I have Milgard patio double door sliding glass door, double hook. I need to know please how to replace The mechanism inside the frame door .snap off the side cover that runs along the entire length of the door you, do you have a link with instructionor video that shows how to do it
also I need part number for replacement mechanism ,

I am sending you attached photo the mechanism I have. It’s hiding in the frame sliding door. I need to know how remove the plastic. So the mechanism will be exposed to me then I can remove it.
Model number 82-268B I believe it’s the part number I need also, if you can confirm that
This is a milgard part I would like to know please how to replace it if you have a video or instruction how to open the frame door

Thank you for reaching out to us. The 82-268B indeed looks like a match. Once it's removed from the door, you'll just want to make sure the specifications align.

The trim over the lock can be snapped off, so you'll have to use a putty knife and do your best to gently pry it off.
