Door handle / mortise replacement

Question

Please see the attached photos. I had previously purchased 82-005 but it does not stay on well and is very loose. I also need to install a mortise or a lock to keep the door closed/locked

Hey there. Sorry to hear the 82-005 handle set hasn't been nominal. Could you give us a little more detail? What is the hole spacing, or the distance between the center of each mounting hole, for whatever the original hardware was on this door? Is this original handle set still available for us to see? If not it will be very difficult to narrow this down. Let me know and we'll proceed from there.
