Door handles
Hello,
I believe you have a very old Arcadia patio door that is no longer available. Honestly, most parts for this door aren't available anymore. I'd suggest seeing if you could use a surface-mounted set like the 82-005. Review the specifications and installation video to see what you think. Thanks for posting.
Normally, patio handles are installed on the side of the patio stile rail. However, it appears yours is mounted from the rear of the handle into the door stile. That's very peculiar.
As for disassembling the handle set, it requires "breaking the seal," so to speak. There are no real instructions for it for this reason. If I had to guess, I believe you need to remove what looks like a cover plate from the handle, which appears to be held on with simple Phillips screws.
