Thanks for posting. This looks like a 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which uses Series 190 Coil Balances. For a 22 pound window, use on each side of the window a S190-740 7 pound spring and S190-440 4 pound spring. This will equal 11 pounds of support on both sides of the sash, for a total of 22 pounds overall. For new cover supports, see the 15-181 Double Clip and 15-182 Bushings. let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks bob for the info. Could one just use an S140-12 for this window repair instead of purchasing all of the individual parts you described?

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, no--though this question gets asked fairly often and I can understand why, since the Series 140 comes as a single assembly. The Series 140 only really works for windows that originally used the Series 140. Typically when one tries to use it to replace a different balance series, they'll find it doesn't fit the window jamb properly. For that reason it's almost always best to stick with what you originally had.

Now most of our coil balance systems, such as the Series 190 and 15-180 shoe, come as separate components rather than one item. The plus side of this is that these systems are modular and you only have to replace what is broken. But of course, it does mean identifying and replacing multiple parts when all or most parts have to be replaced. Let me know if you have any other questions.
