Double Hung Coil Part 408

Question

Steve, I have these double hung coil parts. The only part number I've got on it is 408L and I'm really lost because the cover goes in between the coils. I don't know what size screw that is and I don't know if I'm supposed to screw it into the wall or not I don't think too straight

Hey Gary. This is an old Simonton Coil Balance system that is no longer made. However, you can replace it with our 15-259 Pivot Shoe and Series 159 Coil Balance springs. The video below shows how to install this hardware. Take a look and let me know if you have questions.
