Double Hung Window Pivot Shoe

Home Owner from Huntsville, AL
Then top of this has broken and no longer holds the bar. I pulled it out of a window where I couldn't find the manufacturer. Sitting on its back, it's approximately 2" tall and 1 1/4" wide. On its side, it's approximately 1/2" thick.

Thanks for writing in. I'm afraid we won't be able to replace this T-Lock Shoe. This is an older version used with a balance that is crimped at the end; the groove in the stem of this shoe is meant to fit into this crimp. The balances and shoes are no longer made this way, which means that the modern version of this shoe (our 15-195) won't fit into your channel balance, since it lacks that groove. You will need an all-new Series 795 Channel Balance.

You will need to remove measure the length of your balance's metal channel to know what length to select. Then you'll need to find the stamp code on your balance's metal channel to know what stamp option to select. Look over the specifications of the Series 795, including the clip at the end of the cord, and let us know if it differs from your old balance in any way.
