Hello,

Take a look at another customer's discussion here where our expert indicates that even though this drawer socket is no longer made, you may be able to use our 32-012 as a substitute. Take a look and see what you think. Thanks for posting!

I'm also looking to replace Merillat drawer brackets 471029/471037. Have you heard back from any customers to verify that your part 32-012 actually fit?

I need 8 pairs and although they're not expensive, I'd hate to order them, only to find out that they didn't fit.

Please send me some good news as I know the original part is no longer made.

Thanks

Hi again. I did more searching and found a post on your site that recommends using part 32-119 ??? So Now I'm even more confused on which part to order.

The 32-119 and 32-012 are honestly pretty interchangeable. I personally prefer the 32-119 because it's a less complicated part, but the differences are marginal. It's really a matter of personal preference.

As for verification, I've had many, many customers tell me that both the 32-012 and 32-119 worked well. It just took a little handy work (drilling new holes for installation, packing out the back wall if necessary, lining it up with the old socket, etc.). It's not a 1:1 replacement but in my opinion it's the best you're going to find.

Hi there. I'm looking for the same thing. The problem is that drawer is located in an island with a very thing wall behind it so drilling holes to support is not an option. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you can't drill into the back wall of the cabinet, you could potentially use a staple gun. That's really the only alternative I can think of, unfortunately. Your old socket isn't made anymore, so any replacement that's compatible will either have to screw to the back of the cabinet, or be stapled on.
