Dual Arm Casement Replacement

Question

I can no longer shut the window, when I turn the window crank there's a clicking sound, the window can't get close enough the shut/close with the latch.  Do I need to replace the operator? If so, which one?  Thank you for your help.  Numbers I can find are 67813 and 31272.

Hey there,

It sounds like your window operator gears have become stripped on the inside of the mechanism. That said, you will need to replace the operator.

Yours has a similar design to either the 39-253RB or the 39-439B Encore Dual Arm Operators. To determine which of these is the correct replacement, take a look over the video tutorial below detailing their differences.
