I don't see any markings on this product anywhere besides a "4", china, and a round numberering 1-12

Thanks for posting. This is a Simonton Coil Balance system that is no longer made. The 15-259 Pivot Shoe and Series 159 Coil Balances can work as a substitute. The video below shows how to install this, and the second one shows how to pick the right spring weights for the coil springs. Let me know if you have questions.
