Early 90's era dbl hung windows

Question

Hey, trying to find some parts for Dbl Hungs on a house I'm working on. I need shoes and coil spring help. I also need the pivot bars (26-226) and sash latches (26-110,111), but I already identified those on your site. On my old coil springs, I looked for a stamp on the two tapes that are connected to the shoe and on the outer most tape is "CL", and on the inner tape (between the outer and shoe is just a "B".

Would appreciate any direction you can offer.

Hi there!

This pivot shoe was discontinued but we've received confirmation that our 15-177 works as a replacement. Our Series 152 coil springs are used with this part but you'll need to divide the sash weight by the total number of springs in the window to calculate what weight you will need. For compatible coil supports, see our 15-143 bushing, 15-144 bushing cap and 15-145 support barrel.

We may be able to help with the pile weatherstripping but we'll need you to remove a piece and write out the base width and pile height to determine your replacement options.
